Classroom Arduino WorkshopsAs exciting as engineering is, we aim to make it much more approachable for hesitant and unaware students. The best and most engaging way to accomplish this is with Arduino.
Arduino serves as the best launchpad for students to get a grasp of the knowledge associated with electrical engineering. Its small structure and countless parts are the great mix for young learners to tackle the intricacy of electrical engineering while diverging themselves into creatively making creations with ease. We strive to engineer this concept within our community through Arduino workshops in our school. |
We hosts classroom workshops directed at students grades 6th through 9th. We work with math and science teachers to allot time for students to experience our workshop.
Students in groups of three or more receive an Arduino kit and work together to complete the lessons.
We have hosted five separate in-class workshops with middle school students, two lunch events for students, faculty, and special guests.
We let students tackle Arduino on their own after we noticed the skills they build when asking questions and exploring for themselves. The results have been outbursts of creativity, successful teamwork, and independent learning.
